I'm a digital design leader with over 20 years of experience, and I love to solve problems.
My design philosophy can be summarized as "striving toward a marriage of Commitment, Consistency, and Credibility." By committing to do our best work, and by providing a consistency in how we deliver, we build credibility and trust with our partners to build the best, most reliable solutions for all customers.
Design lets me unleash my creatve side. Pushing pixels, mixing colors, defining patterns and interactions, all to improve the customer experience.
Coding strengthens my technical skills. Writing lines of code and refractoring them into re-usable components makes the design part much more tangible.
Managing is a dialogue. A manager is both a coach and a contributor. A great manager listens, inspires, learns from, and empowers the team.
My work experience is extensive. I've been a book publisher, record label owner, game store owner, interaction and visual designer, front-end developer, app coder, CMS creator, principal product designer, and a design manager.
I have experience in many industries, including e-commerce, online marketplaces, B2B, B2C, software as a service (SaaS), retail banking, small business banking, and commercial banking. Most recently, I've been working in fraud prevention, security, and password and biometric authentication.
